How to ship large items?

I'd really like to sell some furniture (Headboards, dressers, bookshelves) I've made on ebay, etsy, or similar sites. If something like this was to sell, what would be the best way to ship it? Do I list it for a sale price + shipping, or do I include shipping in the sale price?
