Bookshelf Headboards

Designing my bedroom, need help?

I'm 12 and my mom is letting me redesign my bedroom. I think that's awesome, but the problem is, I need help choosing what to do for it!! We already bought the new furniture. We bought a bookshelf (I love to read), a dresser, a nightstand, and a headboard for the bed. They're all white with black knobs, if they have knobs. But I don't wanna do just black and white, and we're going to paint the walls, too, but I have NO idea what colors to do!!! I want it to be colors that I like, but it has to last me until I move out, so I have to REALLY like it. But I have no idea what I'm gonna like in nine years! We're going shopping today for the bedspread & paint, so I need to choose the colors fast. I like bright colors, but kind of a pastel-ish blue would be okay. I want two or three colors. I'm not tomboy OR girly-girl. I hate both. I have no idea what I am. I'm just...different. So, what colors????????????????? Link to bedspreads would be amazingly awesome, thanks. :):):)

1. I would suggest a pastel blue or pastel green. Either color looks great with white and black.
2. what would be cool is if you had like a color pop scheme. make a lot black and white but have a couple walls and accessories bright colors. i would suggest bright bluish-teal and orange, that would look cool
3. If you need to get nice bed linens for your new bedroom I highly recommend checking out www.ruvalonline.com they carry a brand of bed linens called Comphy co. and these sheets are amazing. I recently purchased a set for myself and so far these are the best I have ever owned. I believe they ony have a few colors but they do include pastel colors, such as tea green , mountain blue, etc. I am so happy that I stumbled across these sheets. Apparently they are very hard to find according to what I have read. Also what was great is if you ask the company they can mail you swatches so you can match your paint on the walls with the sheets colors.
