How can I decorate my room?

All the walls are a light baby pink while the ceiling is white. My window has boring, blue blinds. There's a tall wooden bookshelf, painted white, placed in the corner. My bed is pushed all the way into the other corner (bad idea?) I have a dresser and a mirror headboard thing with that. I also have this big red fuzzy rug. 1. Try a moca chocolate brown with the pink. Very sophisticated and smashing! Use glossy pearl for accent features (picture frames, art, lamps, etc.).
2. you should create a theme of colors, like maybe light pink ( from you walls ) red ( from your rug ) and of course, black and white. you can buy maybe curtains or something that go over your window, (which are very inexpensive) try buying some pretty red, light pink, black and white pillows. pillows always make a room look better. :) and you could even get a new comforter, that will bring your room together nicely. you can buy faux fur or fleece throws (i love them!) that match your room to make it more cozy. and last but not least, decorative pink and red room accents. they make it look like you know what your doing when it comes to decorating your room and look great. a room is boring without the right colors and matching pretty accents. i suggest that you go to target, because they have good, cute room stuff. good luck! best answer please?
