Bookshelf Headboards

White or black furniture?

I'm thinking about painting all the wooden furniture (dresser, headboard, bookshelf, desk) and maybe the trim white or black. I dont know which would look better.. please help?

1. That actually looks like navy blue, not black... But it is such a cute pattern...
2. Looking at the picture, the white headboard is practically un-noticed against the white wall. If your room is white than definitely paint the wood furniture black. Actually if it were my room and I choose that bedding the furniture would be painted black regardless of the room color. By the way, I really like your duvet cover and contrary to what the last person said, it is BLACK.
