Are bed head straighteners okay for your hair?
I've had my bed head straightener for a while now, and I use it 97 percent of the time. My hair has been perfectly fine since i bought it and used it. Is it ceramic? And is it okay for your hair? Will it give me split ends after a period of time? Ive had it since christmas.

- i believe its ceramic && i heard it works real real good. I work at walgreens and they sell them there. Alot of people told me about the curlers to and say they work just as good. Its ok for your hair as long as you dont overdo it and try not to have the iron on your ends for to long. It can cause split ends if you do that. When you use it make sure u use a heat protectant & a moisterizer
- I just bought a curler from Bed Head, so its about the same. I wonder why striaghters cost way more then curlers, but o well. It has been great for me i love it, but im hoping it'll last me for a while. You shouldnt use a striaghtner everyday because it is just going to ruin ur hair. Ever since i got it, it is way better than my other one from Target brand [well i think anything is better than that] and so I think it works good, brings shine to my hair, and it has been looking more healthy and shiny now a days.
- Any straightener is OK for your hair as long as you are using the proper iron protecting products on your hair. Sleek.looks iron spray blocks up to 400F and adds moister to your hair and they also have a cream for your hair to use with it called extreme. I use both of those on my dry hair (add is sections) before I flat iron and my hair is very healthy. As with any tool, you are going to get split ends, but as long as you are keeping them cut every 6-8 weeks, you should not have a severe breakage.
