Can red heads bed tan?

i am a red head who burns very easily. I am pasty and want to be tan. i think that going Mystic makes my skin have an orangish tint and am not to fond of it! i was wondering if going bed tanning would actually work or if it would just be a big waste of money! i would appreciate any advice! thank you

1. Well of course it works, but tanning beds increase you risk of skin cancer consiberable. Is it worth your health to get a tan?
2. No if you have pale skin that burns easily you will not get tan from a tanning bed just burn really bad ! I go tanning believe me don't go . It even says on the beds if you don't tan in the sun you won't in the bed. Spray tanner is your only option . Try jergens natural skin glow , but it can also make you look orange. Sorry :/
3. Don't do that. Red heads are super cute the way they are. You dont need any skin color, because you have all that great color right above your forehead!
4. Yes, you will definitly be able to tan. When I started tanning, I was paper white, and had even been asked if I was albino. What the best thing to do is to tan SMART. This means, always make sure you use a tanning lotion, as this will reduce your chance of burning, and help tan you faster. When choosing a tanning salon, try to find a salon that has 30 minute beds. Beds that have level 1, 2, 3, 10 minute tans, etc are extremely rough on your skin. In a 30 minute bed, start going for 3-5 minutes, depending on how easily you burn, then start working your way up. If this makes you a little pink, wait for it to go away, then go again for 3-5 minutes. Wait until you no longer get pink, and then bump it up to 7. Do the same thing, then bump it up to 10, then 13, then 15, then 20, etcetcetc. While this may seen extremely tedious, its the only way for someone pale to effectively get a tan. Also, for the people that think tanning causes cancer, check out the link provided below. Tanning (in a healthy manner AKA not burning) is actually healthy for you.
